What is the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) ranking of Kempegowda International Airport?
The Kempegowda International Airport, shortly known as KIA of Bangalore which has been widely applauded as a high-flyer International Airport having considerable passenger growth for 2017, this has also got another feather in its crown now.
KIA has bagged the second place in Airport service quality (ASQ) rankings, as reported by Airports Council International (ACI).
Who Ranks Them?
ACI is a trade association of the world’s airports. They collect data from the customers of all airports, over the course of the year in a worldwide program of evaluating airports depending on the customer feedback. According to the feedbacks, 34 key performance factors, such as airport access, maintenance, check-in, security screening, stores, restaurants, restrooms etc. are ranked which are called ASQ rankings. They also collect the best and worst experiences from customers at that particular airport.
These rankings are declared according to the categories made depending upon the number of passengers clocked per year.
