What Is Drip Irrigation & Sprinkler Irrigation System?
Drip irrigation is a micro-irrigation system that conserves water and nutrients. In this method, water is allowed to drip slowly directly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface. Here water is directly supplied into the root zone and minimize evaporation.
Sprinkler irrigation is a method of watering the crop similar to natural rainfall. Water is supplied through the network of pipes by pumping. Water is sprayed into the air through sprinklers and it breaks up into small water droplets falling to the ground.
