What is environmental balance?

The ecological systems are in a stable equilibrium or homeostasis. Any kind change is always corrected by some negative feedback. This brings the parameter back to its original stage and balance is maintained with the rest of the system.

For example size of a particular population, predator-prey systems, etc.
