How to find square and cube roots?

Square of Numbers:

When a number is multiplied by itself, the product is called a square or square number.

For example,

Square of 5 is,

$5 \times 5 = 25$. Here, 25 is the square of 5.

The square root of numbers:

A square root of a number is a value that, when multiplied by itself, gives the number. or,

The square root of a number x is a number y such that $y. (y) = x$.

In other words, a number y whose square (the result of multiplying the number by itself, or y ⋅ y) is x.

For example,

$5 \times 5 = 25$. So, square root of 25 is 5.

Perfect cubes:

To cube a number, we multiply a number 3 times.

For example, a cube of 5 is,

$5^3 = 5 \times 5\times 5 = 125$

Therefore, the Cube of 5 is 125.

Cube root :

The cube root of a number is the value that when cubed gives the original number.

Cube root can be found by prime factorization.

For example, the cube root of 216 is,

$216 = 2 \times 2\times 2 \times 3 \times 3\times 3  = (2\times 3)^3 = 6^3$

Therefore, the cube-root of 216 is 6.
