Find the Value of the following :  $1.1\times0.1\times0.01$.

Given : 

The given expression is $1.1\times0.1\times0.01$

To find :

We have to find the value of the given expression.

Solution :

$1.1\times0.1\times0.01$

Convert the given decimals to fractions,

$1.1 = \frac{11}{10}$            [point is after one decimal place from the right end, so remove the point and divide by 10]

$0.1 = \frac{1}{10}$            [point is after one decimal place from the right end, so remove the point and divide by 10]

$0.01 = \frac{1}{100}$       [point is after two decimal places from the right end, so remove the point and divide by 100]

Now,

$\frac{11}{10} \times \frac{1}{10} \times \frac{1}{100}$

$=\frac{11\times1\times1}{10\times10\times100} $

$=\frac{11}{10000}$

$=\frac{11}{10000} = 0.0011$       [10000 in the denominator, so place the point after four decimal places from the right end]

The value of $1.1\times0.1\times 0.01  is  0.0011 $.
