Define X-rays?


X-rays are a form of electromagnetic waves.

It was discovered by the professor of Physics Wilhelm Roentgen, in 1895.

It is used to creates pictures of the inside body. Most of the X-rays are absorbed by the Calcium present in the bones, so bones look white, while fat and other soft tissues absorb less and look grey.
