How to Copy and Paste Multiple Non-Adjacent Cells/Rows/Columns in Excel?
Generally, we always try to copy and paste data into continuous cells in a list, and when we try to apply this operation to random cells, Excel will not allow us. But there are some conditions under which we can achieve our result. There are two conditions: the selected cells must be present in a single column or row, and we must select an equal number of values in the rows or columns that we copy.
Read this tutorial to learn how to copy and paste multiple non-adjacent cells, rows, or columns in Excel. We can complete this task just by using some simple commands, like copy and paste.

Here, we will keep holding the CTRL button while selecting the cells and use copy and paste in the default way. Let's go over a simple procedure for copying and pasting multiple non-adjacent cells in Excel.
Step 1
Let us consider an excel sheet where the data in the sheet is in the form of a table or a matrix, as shown in the below image.

As shown in the image below, we can now select multiple cells by holding down the CTRL key and using the command CTRL + C to copy the data .Make sure that we select the values from a single row or column.
CTRL + Select cells > CTRL + C

Step 2
Then, to paste values, click on an empty cell and press CTRL + V. The data will be represented based on your selection, i.e., in a row or a column.
Empty cell > CTRL + V
