News 1 - ILO released Global Estimates on Migrant Workers.
United Nations International Labour Organisation (ILO) on 16 December 2015 released a report titled Global Estimates on Migrant Workers. Migrant workers population account for 150.3 million of the world’s approximately 232 million international migrants.
Among migrant workers, 83.7 million are men and 66.6 million are women, corresponding to 55.7 per cent and 44.3 per cent of the total respectively.
Migrants constitute 3.9 percent of the total global population (aged 15 years and over), however, migrant workers constitute a higher proportion (4.4 percent) of all workers.
News 2 - United Nations Human Development Report 2015 released.
The United Nations Human Development Report 2015 was released on 14 December 2015 with the title Work for Human Development in Ethiopia. In the report, India with a score of 0.609 has been ranked 130 out of 188 countries in terms of Human Development Index (HDI). In the 2014 report, India was ranked 135 out of 187 countries.

News 3 - Green Peace India released report on National Air Quality Index of 17 cities.
Green Peace India on 15 December 2015 released a report on National Air Quality Index (NAQI) of 17 cities. The report is the first analysis of air pollution levels in Indian cities carried out by Green Peace using the NAQI system.
As per the report, Delhi was listed as the most polluted city in the world, while 13 Indian cities were figured in the list of 20 most polluted cities on the planet. The 13 cities were among the 17 countries surveyed by the Green Peace.

News 4 - Global Financial Integrity released the Global Illicit Financial Flows Report 2015.
Among the 149 countries surveyed, India stood at the 4th position in terms of illicit financial flows between 2004 and 2013 with 51 billion US dollar.
The top 5 countries with highest illicit financial flows- China (1), Russia (2), Mexico (3), India (4) and Malaysia (5).
While illicit out flows from China, during 2004-13, was pegged at 139 billion US dollars, in case of Russia it was 104 billion US dollars.
1.1 trillion US dollars flowed illicitly out of developing and emerging economies in 2013 due to tax evasion, crime, corruption, and other illicit activity.
