CoffeeScript Date - getUTCDay()
Description
The getUTCDay() method returns the day of the week in the specified date according to universal time. The value returned by getUTCDay()is an integer corresponding to the day of the week: 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, and so on.
Syntax
Given below is the syntax of getUTCDay() method.

Example
The following example demonstrates the usage of the getUTCDay() method in CoffeeScript. Save this code in a file with name date_getutcday.coffee.
dt = new Date "February 19, 2016 23:15:25:22" console.log "The UTC day in the specified date is : " + dt.getUTCDay()
Open the command prompt and compile the .coffee file as shown below.
c:\> coffee -c date_getutcday.coffee
On compiling, it gives you the following JavaScript.
// Generated by CoffeeScript 1.10.0 (function() { var dt; dt = new Date("February 19, 2016 23:15:25:22"); console.log("The UTC day in the specified date is : " + dt.getUTCDay()); }).call(this);
Now, open the command prompt again, and run the CoffeeScript file as shown below.
c:\> coffee date_getutcday.coffee
On executing, the CoffeeScript file produces the following output.
The UTC day in the specified date is : 5
