CoffeeScript Date - getMinutes()

Description

The getMinutes() method returns the minutes in the specified date according to local time. The value returned by getMinutes() is an integer between 0 and 59.

Example

The following example demonstrates the usage of the getMinutes() method in CoffeeScript. Save this code in a file with name date_getminutes.coffee.

dt = new Date "February 19, 2016 23:15:25:22"
console.log "The value of the minutes in the specified date is : " + dt.getMinutes()

Open the command prompt and compile the .coffee file as shown below.

c:\> coffee -c date_getminutes.coffee

On compiling, it gives you the following JavaScript.
