What is JAIIB?

JAIIB stands for Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. It is a course which you can do to get many job opportunities in the finance sector. There is a tough competition in the banking sector and candidates need to go for the JAIIB exam to be ahead in the competition. JAIIB can be expanded to Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

There are three papers in this examination and each of them is divided into chapters and modules. You can take the exam only if you are an employee of a bank. Eligibility Criteria

If you want to go for the JAIIB exam, you need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria −

Only the members of IIBF are eligible to take the exam. If you are working in a financial institute or bank and the employers are the members of IIBF.

You need to pass the 12th exam which can belong to any stream. If you are a clerk in a bank and have not taken up the 12th exam, you are still eligible to take up the JAIIB exam. In such a case you need to get the sign of your manager on the recommendation letter.

Exam Pattern

You will have to take the exam online in which each paper will have 120 multiple choice questions and the duration of each paper will be 2 hours. The exam is conducted on three Sundays and each paper has 100 marks. In order to be successful, you will have to secure at least 50 marks in each test.

Registration fee for the exam

If you are taking the exam for the first time, you will have to pay INR 2,700 as a registration fee. For the second, third, and fourth attempts, you will have to pay INR 1,300.
