Prototype - makeClipping() Method

Syntax

element.makeClipping();

Return Value

Returns an HTML element.

Example

   <head>
      <title>Prototype examples</title>
      <script type = "text/javascript" src = "/javascript/prototype.js"></script>

      <script>
         function Clipping() {
            $('framer').makeClipping().setStyle(
               {width: '50px', height: '50px'})
         }
         function Original() {
            $('framer').undoClipping();
