The most important applications of such models are River engineering, Flood inundation mapping, Flood control, Flood management, and Flood damage estimation.

 The HEC-RAS 1D model is one of the best Numerical models in River Engineering and Flood Modeling. Due to the high performance of this model, Several companies, Engineers, and Researchers, all around the world, are using this model in their studies.
