Goals

What will you learn in this course:

1. Students will learn about value analysis and value engineering techniques and processes which are followed in the industries neatly.
2. Step-by-step explanation of VAVE process in industry starting from information gathering, idea generation, brainstorming, project execution.
3. All the steps have been explained with good examples and pictures how we should work as a team to make ideation and bring value into our full product life-cycle management.
4. How to brainstorm with the team, making them more creative and letting them free by asking a good amount of questions like if cost is not a problem if time is not a problem what you can create in this process.
5. How as a designer you can add value by knowing VAVE skills in detail and showing the difference in cost savings and quality improvement.
6. How as a project manager you can implement PAV skills in gathering information for the project, ideation and brainstorming, execution with timeline and budget and effectively communicating it to the team.
7. Being a product designer showcasing a cost-cutting and then process optimization and then quality improvement can have a large impact on the product design and thus it can affect the overall product life-cycle management as well.
