Limits in Mathematics

My name is Alison.

I'm an analytical person with a science background, that has a passion for complex problem-solving. I have a PhD in Science and I currently work as a Software Developer.

I'm here to teach you Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Programming.

In this specific course, we will learn various concepts about limits in mathematics

1. First, we will talk about what a limit is with an example to understand this
2. Then, we will introduce indeterminate limits, those limits which we cannot predict mathematically. We will show various examples to demonstrate how we can solve these types of limits  
3. We will then talk about infinitesimal limits and how we can calculate their principal part and order 
4. We will also see what are infinite limits with an example  
5. Finally, we will discuss how to determine if a function is continuous or not at a point, by analysing its lateral limits. We will see an example of a function that is continuous at one point and not continuous at another.
