WHAT THIS COURSE IS ABOUT

"Learning TPM" deals with Total Productive maintenance concepts in a very dynamic way. Theory and practice are merged together to give the addressers of this course the best possible learning experience. The course is divided into 7 sections. It starts with the contextualization of the role of Maintenance engineering in the modern industry and the introduction of TPM. Then a brief history about TPM is exposed and after that the course goes into details about TPM objectives and concepts. The main part of the course is related to TPM concepts, tools, metrics and benefits. Then, it focuses on how to implement this famous lean tool and maintenance policy, and how to face barriers that could be encountered.  

The course is exposed through slides and you will always see me speaking on the top right corner. Slides summarize the argument exposed but i will go into deep on every argument; so taking notes is suggested. This course is addressed to everyone that is interested in maintenance engineering thematic. No matter if you are a student, a manager or a maintenance supervisor and you need no prerequisites on those topics because they are explained from zero. 

In addition to the theory, there will be exercises inspired by true cases that will help students to put in practice the topics explained. Exercise doesn't require particular engineering skills, but they will help anyone who has to deal with TPM concepts and will inspire university students that are studying or preparing thesis about Total productive maintenance.
