Java.util.Currency.getInstance() Method
Description
The java.util.Currency.getInstance() method returns the Currency instance for the given currency code.
Declaration
Following is the declaration for java.util.Currency.getInstance() method
public static Currency getInstance(String currencyCode)
Parameters
currencyCode − currency's ISO 4217 code
Return Value
This method returns the Currency instance for the specified currency code.
Exception
NullPointerException − if currencyCode is null
IllegalArgumentException − if ISO 3166 does not support the given currencyCode.
