A) Hydroelectric Power Plant : site selection, classification of HEPP (based on head, nature of load, water quantity), criteria for turbine selection, dams, spillways, surge tank and forebay, advantages and disadvantages of HEPP, hydrograph ,flow duration curve ,mass curve, (Numerical Treatment) environmental impacts of HEPP

B) Nuclear Power Plants : elements of NPP, types of nuclear reactor (PWR, BWR, CANDU, GCR, LMCR, OMCR, fast breeder, fusion), material for nuclear fuel, cladding, coolants, control rod and shielding, nuclear waste disposal, environmental impacts of NPP

So dear friends I am uploading study courses of Hydel or Hydro Power plant and Nuclear Power Plant as per syllabus contents as mentioned above. My intension is to provide you the optimum data required for your final theory exam so as to save your precious time and can get more time for preparation of other subjects. This is based on my experience while facing exams. I am collecting data from various books, web sites and my self teaching and industrial experience etc. and after thorough study, making the notes, solving numericals etc. and then putting up in front of you in the form of video lectures and resource files. The efforts are to feel like you are attending the class and acquiring all the required knowledge in short time and also to get confidence in the subject Energy Engineering. This subject was also termed as Power Plant Engineering previously , hence it is useful for TE and BE Mechanical and also Electrical Engineering stream students.
