News 1 - Astronaut Scott Kelly to publish a book on 'My Year in Space and Our Journey to Mars'

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly will write a memoir titled Endurance: My Year in Space and Our Journey to Mars. The book will be published by Alfred A. Knopf. He will mention in his book about the obstacles he encountered along the way, his early struggles in school, his training as a Navy test pilot, and the work required to become an astronaut and live in space for one year.

The memoir will offer a glimpse of Scott's journey to space and his life aboard the ISS. Kelly's retirement from NASA took effect on April 1, and that's freed him up to take on a variety of outside gigs - including the book deal. Knopf said Kelly would write "Endurance" with Margaret Lazarus Dean as co-author, with publication set for late 2017.

News 2 - Author and Journalist BG Verghese's 'A State in Denial

BG Verghese who died on 30 December 2014, in his last book differs from others on the subject with its ultimately optimistic outlook and some radical out-of-the-box solutions on how the two countries can dismantle and bury deep over six decades of acrimony.

The book explores a subject of immense global significance of Pakistan and its relations with remaining World including India. Verghese's book is not only a primer of what is wrong with Pakistan and how it could be fixed but also an eloquent warning against India making the same mistakes and miscalculations, quite a few of which he discerns in some measures of some figures of the Narendra Modi government and some of its ideological backers.

News 3 - Emraan Hashmi's 'The Kiss of Life' Book launched

The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched the book 'The Kiss of Life: How a superhero and my son defeated cancer'.

The book, which Emraan Hashmi has co-written with author Bilal Siddiqi, tells about his struggle with his six-year-old son Ayaan's cancer treatment. The book has been published by Penguin Books India in three languages.

Born on February 2010, Ayaan, who is Emraan and wife Parveen Shahani's first child, was diagnosed with first stage cancer at the age of four in early 2014.

Mr. Kartar Lalvani moved to Mumbai from Karachi after partition. He then studied Pharmacy in London and settled there. He is the founder-chairman of Vitabiotics, a global company that specializes in vitamin and mineral based formulations.
