Course Description

This course teaches about the basics of colours, what are the types of primary, secondary and treasury colours and how it can be used practically for various applications. Teaches about the colour interaction emotions of each colour's expression of each colour and how to extract each colour from a picture or photograph or even a music et cetera. Additionally a basic concept called synesthesia has been covered in this whole topic and each colour represents what functionality meaning associated keywords for almost 30 to 40 colours have been discussed and listed down for quick references. Designers can have this quick reference guide for choosing their colours when it comes to creating graphic design projects choosing colours for their products; anything can be a one-shot reference.

  1. Students can learn about the theory of how to construct a Colour wheel and I have shown the real-time example of how to construct a colour wheel by doing many iterations and failing and again getting success.
  2. Students can learn about what primary , secondary and tertiary colours are, how certain RGB, CMYK colours are formed, what is meant by triadic colours, tetradic colours etc.
  3. Also students can learn about the science behind how colours are being created and the UV light spectrum is being deflected into various wavelengths to understand colour. 
  4. What is meant by these technical terms hue, Tint, shade, saturation in detail with pictorial examples and understandings.
  5. One can learn about how to extract colours and emotions from a picture, and how to paint a face with a self-portrait representing our emotions choosing colours.
  6. How to understand painters skills and the types of paintings and the meaning through which colours could be analysed and understood creating that emotion.
  7. What is meant by synaesthesia, its types and its practical application in theory behind it is being discussed in detail.
  8. What do colours mean functionally what each colour represents each keyword and meaning and emotion associated to and how it's culturally different from context to context is being discussed in detail with a lot of examples, around 30 to 40 colours have been given easy Association of keywords and that could be used for design references.
  9. What is complimentary colours split complimentary colours to Tronic colours try adding colours all the RGB and cool warm colours have been given us a quick reference guide for the people were learning this course so they can directly apply to their graphic designs product designs choosing of colours for the typeface et cetera.
