AIML - <that> Tag



<that> Tag is used in AIML to respond based on the context.

Syntax

<that> template </that>

For example, consider the following conversation.

Human: Hi Alice! What about movies?
Robot: Do you like comedy movies?
Human: No
Robot: Ok! But I like comedy movies.

Example

Create that.aiml inside C > ab > bots > test > aiml and that.aiml.csv inside C > ab > bots > test > aimlif directories.

Execute the Program

Open the command prompt. Go to C > ab > and type the following command −

java -cp lib/Ab.jar Main bot = test action = chat trace = false

Verify the Result

You will see the following output −

Human: What about movies?
Robot: Do you like comedy movies?
Human: No
Robot: Ok! But I like comedy movies.
