1 - Education Minister notified Council of Architecture Regulations, 2020
Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank launched the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 2020 in New Delhi. The regulation, to be effective from 1st November 2020 will replace Architecture Regulations, 1983.

Features are:
Candidates will get a chance to exit the architecture programme post three years.
Choice Based Credit System will be introduced along with training experience in the eighth and ninth semester of the course.
To offer a "multi-disciplinary approach" and introduction of national and international exchange programmes.
To focus on filling the gap between academics and the industry.
