(a) Adam\'s apple: Voicebox or the larynx of the boys are known as Adam\'s apple. At puberty, the voice box begins to grow in boys and can be seen as protruding part of the throat.

(b) Secondary sexual characters: Traits that distinguish the two sexes of humans from each other are known as secondary sexual characteristics.

In males, increasing height, protruding Adam\'s apple, deepened voice, hairy chest, hairy thighs, and hairy armpits are the secondary sexual characteristics. In females, the development of breasts, hair in the armpits, pubic hair, high-pitched voice, smoother skin texture, and deposition of fat around hips are the secondary sexual characteristics.

(c) Sex determination in the unborn baby: The sex of the unborn baby is determined by the presence of sex chromosomes (that is contributed by father). An unfertilized egg always contains X chromosomes. If sperm contributes X chromosomes, then the baby will be female and if sperm contributes Y chromosomes, then the baby will be male.
