Swing Examples - Show a Modal Dialog



Following example showcase how to create a modal dialog in swing based application.

We are using the following APIs.

  • JDialog − To create a standard dialog box.

  • JDialog.getContentPane() − To get the content panel of the dialog box.

  • Dialog.ModalityType.DOCUMENT_MODAL − To show a dialog box as a modal dialog box.
