What is RPM?
The full form of RPM is revolutions per minute. RPM is used to check the operation and movement of a vehicle or a machine at any given time. If we talk about cars, RPM means the measurement of rotation of the crankshaft of a car engine in a single minute. This also helps in measuring the movement of the piston in its cylinder.
How does RPM work?
RPM is related to the speed of the internal combustion engine. When the car accelerates and picks up speed and RPM also increases. Pistons are pushed down when the engine burns and releases air and gas. This starts moving the wheels of the car. RPM should not be set at its maximum point.
