Lodash - take method

Syntax

_.take(array, [n=1])

Creates a slice of array with n elements taken from the beginning.

Arguments

• array (Array) − The array to query.

• [n=1] (number) − The number of elements to take.

Output

• (Array) − Returns the slice of array.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');
var list = [1, 2, 3, 4];

var result = _.take(list);
console.log(result);

result = _.take(list,2);
console.log(result);
