Lodash - sortedIndexOf method

Syntax

_.sortedIndexOf(array, value)

This method is like _.indexOf except that it performs a binary search on a sorted array.

Arguments

• array (Array) − The array to inspect.

• value (*) − The value to search for.

Output

• (number) − Returns the index of the matched value, else -1.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');
var list = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6];

var result = _.sortedIndexOf(list, 5);
console.log(result);
