Lodash - isString method

Syntax

_.isString(value)

Checks if value is classified as a String primitive or object.

Arguments

• value (*) − The value to check.

Output

• (boolean) − Returns true if value is a string, else false.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');

console.log(_.isString('3'));
console.log(_.isString(3));

Save the above program in tester.js. Run the following command to execute this program.

Output
