Lodash - isPlainObject method



Syntax

_.isPlainObject(value)

Checks if value is a plain object, that is, an object created by the Object constructor or one with a [[Prototype]] of null.

Arguments

  • value (*) − The value to check.

Output

  • (boolean) − Returns true if value is a plain object, else false.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');

console.log(_.isPlainObject({'x':1}));
console.log(_.isPlainObject([1,2,3]));

Save the above program in tester.js. Run the following command to execute this program.
