java.time.ZonedDateTime.parse() Method Example



Description

The java.time.ZonedDateTime.parse(CharSequence text) method obtains an instance of ZonedDateTime from a text string such as 2007-12-03T10:15:30+01:00[Europe/Paris].

Declaration

Following is the declaration for java.time.ZonedDateTime.parse(CharSequence text) method.

public static ZonedDateTime parse(CharSequence text)

Parameters

text − the text to parse such as "2007-12-03T10:15:30+01:00[Europe/Paris]", not null.

Return Value

the local date, not null.

Exceptions

DateTimeParseException − if the text cannot be parsed.
