java.time.Period.parse() Method Example



Description

The java.time.Period.parse(CharSequence text) method obtains a Period from a text string such as PnYnMnD and PnW.

Parameters

text − the text to parse, not null.

Return Value

the parsed Period, not null.

Exception

DateTimeParseException − if the text cannot be parsed to a Period.
