Find the following product.
$ (-7 x y) \times\left(\frac{1}{4} x^{2} y z\right) $

AcademicMathematicsNCERTClass 8

Given:

\( (-7 x y) \times\left(\frac{1}{4} x^{2} y z\right) \)

To do:

We have to find the given product.

Solution:

$(-7 x y) \times(\frac{1}{4} x^{2} y z)=-7 \times \frac{1}{4} \times x \times x^{2} \times y \times y \times z$

$=\frac{-7}{4} x^{1+2} \times y^{1+1} \times z$

$=\frac{-7}{4} x^{3} y^{2} z$
