This guide will take you from absolute beginner to expert. Even if you are an experienced photographer, there are lots of new tips and examples to help you take better photos.

With this book you will improve your photography skills and your eye whether you shoot with an expensive DSLR or an IPhone.

The in-depth sections take you through picking a subject, composition, light, color, technical aspects and editing.

Anyone can snap a photo, but what makes an amazing and memorable image? How do you take your average photos and make them pop? After shooting a photo, what do you do with it? If you have asked yourself any of these questions, then this book is for you!

About me

I am a filmmaker from Los Angeles, currently based in Munich, Germany. I have over 15 years of experience creating high quality branded content, commercials, event videos, documentaries and more. I spent 7 years at GoPro as a Creative Lead and Filmmaker focused on outdoor/adventure content. I have created content around the world for internationally renowned athletes, major events and well-recognized brands. I am comfortable working as part of a 100+ person crew, or as a solo filmmaker alone on a mountain with my camera. When I am not making films I can be found in the mountains snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking or searching out another adventure.
