Difference between MediaFire and SecureSafe

MediaFire and Securesafe are storage devices used by different organizations and for personal purposes. MediaFire has been first launched in the year 2006 which provides a storage space of 10GB and later Securesafe was introduced in the year 2009 which provides 100 GB storage space. Using the Securesafe, it makes the user to access the data like pictures, videos and music very easily and securely. On the other hand, Mediafire does not provide any kind of security to the files stored.

What is Mediafire?

MediaFire provides a storage service in cloud-based and not physical. It saves and shares items including images, movies, audio files, and documents. It offers client software for web browsers, Android, iOS, macOS, and Linux. 10 GB of storage is available for free on MediaFire, and paid users can access a smaller amount of storage space. With limitless ad-supported downloads and no wait times, we may share files through email, links, or social networks. We can also store and share project files in folders using MediaFire.

With the help of MediaFire's robust file manager, we can manage any location using a desktop or mobile device. By using browsers or one of their convenient applications for different Operating Systems, we can get access to Mediafire. One-time links are another feature that MediaFire offers. They let us share a file with a recipient and prevent them

Features of MediaFire

  • Users can store and manage assets online

  • We can share files while on mobile via email, SMS, Facebook, Instagram, and other Android applications, or by pasting links into email messages

  • 10 GB of free storage space on MediaFire is available for keeping the documents and files.

  • We may access our files anywhere with MediaFire's mobile app

  • We can limit who has access to our files and folders with MediaFire.

What is Securesafe?

Passwords can be manually entered or imported into SecureSafe's password manager using a .csv file. When we do, SecureSafe will automatically copy our password to the clipboard so we may paste it when we open a website related to them or with our login. We can send encrypted files up to 2 GB in size to a recipient of our choice with SecureSafe's SecureSend feature.

The file can be downloaded without having a SecureSafe account. This gives us unrestricted access to send business papers to clients and partners outside the company. SecureSafe's Data Inheritance feature enables us to guarantee that our loved ones or business associates will have access to crucial data like PINs and passwords.

Example

Suppose we have a business document that we need to send to a client. We can use SecureSafe’s SecureSend feature to send the document as an encrypted file up to 2 GB in size. The user does not need an account to download the file. This allows us to send the business document to our clients without restrictions securely.
