Indian women are a symbol of power & knowledge. All they require is a secure environment to grow and work in. Women safety has become the utmost priority of the Indian regime considering the number of cases of malefactions against women. However, currently we have a bunch of safety apps for women.
These Apps are especially designed for Android mobile phones since a survey has revealed that most working women use Android based phone. The basics of most apps are similar — a user-decided list of emergency contacts to alert, and transmission of GPS-determined location — but the newer ones are easier to use, almost intuitive.

Once the User registers at Delhi Police website, the user will receive a registration key (OTP) which has to be entered to complete the application configuration. This is one-time process.
If the user raises the SOS alert then, apart from the friends or relatives the location information and audio-video is transmitted simultaneously to police control room, from the app, the location information, and audio video will be directly transmitted to the Delhi Police control room.
Women Safety
This Safety Alert App is designed to enhance the safety for Women, Kids and everyone during an emergency. If you are stuck in an unsafe place just by pressing a button, all the details related to your location will be sent to your dear ones. It will also send an SMS to a preconfigured number along with your location and a link of Google Maps.you can add it in your widget for easy access.

This Personal Safety App is designed to keep women and senior citizens safer 24/7 and is supported by the various states’ police. The app sends panic alerts to emergency contacts whenever the user presses PANIC Button during an emergency and get instant help from nearest Police, Hospitals, and Fire station. If GPRS is not working alert will be generated via SMS.This app can also do voice recording, photographs during the panic Situation and transfers these to the police as well.
Shake2Safety
This is the easiest to use the app in case of an accident, harassment, robbery or any natural calamities. The user just needs to shake their smartphone or just press the power button four times to send an SOS text or call to the registered numbers. It works with the locked screen on and even without an internet connection. Moreover, the users will also have the ability to activate or deactivate the option of shaking the device to send an alert.
