jQuery - width( ) Method
Description
The width( ) method gets the current computed, pixel, width of the first matched element.
Syntax
Here is the simple syntax to use this method −
selector.width( )
This method is able to find the width of the window and document as follows −
$(window).width(); // returns width of browser viewport $(document).width(); // returns width of HTML document
