$=\frac{2}{3}$

(c) There are nine parts in total and 3 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

The fraction representing the shaded portion $=\frac{3}{9}$

$=\frac{1}{3}$

(d) There are eight parts in total and 2 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

The fraction representing the shaded portion $=\frac{2}{8}$

$=\frac{1}{4}$

(e) There are four parts in total and 3 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

The fraction representing the shaded portion $=\frac{3}{4}$

(i) There are eighteen parts in total and 6 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

The fraction representing the shaded portion $=\frac{6}{18}$

$=\frac{1}{3}$

(ii) There are 8 parts in total and 4 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

(iii) There are sixteen parts in total and 12 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

(iv) There are twelve parts in total and 8 parts are shaded.

Therefore,

(v) There are 16 parts in total and 4 parts are shaded.
