To do: To find the value of the given expressions when $a=0$, $b=-1$.

Solution:

$(i)$. $2a+2b$

Putting $a=0$ and $b=-1$

$=2(0)+2(-1)$

$=0-2$

$=-2$

$(ii)$. $2a^2+b^2+1$

Putting $a=0$ and $b=-1$

$=2(0)^2+(-1)^2+1$

$=0+1+1$

$=2$

$(iii)$. $2a^2b+2ab^2+ab$

Putting $a=0$ and $b=-1$

$=2(0)^2(-1)+2(0)(-1)^2+0(-1)$

$=0+0+0$

$=0$

$(iv)$. $a^2+ab+2$

Putting $a=0$ and $b=-1$

$=0^2+(0)(-1)+2$

$=0+0+2$

$=2$
