When it comes to geography, India is always considered as the miniature model of the world with all types of topography that exists on this land. India houses many hill stations in the different mountain ranges like Sahyadri, Satpura, and the Himalayas. Some of the most visited hill stations in India are:

Coorg

Popularly known as the coffee country, Coorg is considered to be one of the best hill stations in the country. It is located in the state of Karnataka about 150 km from Mangalore. It is famous for jaggery coffee and homemade chocolates. It is a true delight for a tourist to visit huge stretches of coffee plantations.

Namdroling Monastery called the Golden Temple here too attracts a large no. of visitors. The waterfalls add to the natural beauty and the most popular one here is Irpu falls. Others famous tourist spots are Deer Park, Nisargadham, and Tala Kaveri.

Munnar

Kerala is considered to be God’s own country for it is truly blessed with extraordinary natural beauty. Ooty

With the traditional name of Udhagamandalam, Ooty is a calm and pleasant hill station located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Along with the tea and coffee plantations, it is also known for the eucalyptus and pine plantations. The Toda tribe is one of the oldest indigenous group that lives here in the Nilgiris. Darjeeling

Nainital
