What are the best English movies of all time that we can see at any time?
Movies have always been a great escape from hard-hitting reality and life. But there are few movies which leave a great impression behind. Such movies can be watched over and over again without getting bored. The depiction of reality and intensity of the entire movies put them into the elite class.
The Shawshank Redemption
This movie came out in 1994 and ever since this movie released it got the highest rated and most loved movie of all time. This is an American drama directed by Frank Darabont. The plot revolves around a banker who is sentenced to death for his wife’s murder. The way he deals with the lifestyle in a prison and makes his way out of the prison is the rest of the movie.
The Dark Night Rises
A super hero movie inspired by the famous “BATMAN” comic, The Dark Night Rises is a masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. The movie is written, co-produced and directed by Christopher Nolan and it beautifully shows the courage and integrity one must have to achieve a goal. The beloved character ‘JOKER’ was played by ‘Heath Ledger’ and he received a huge amount of appreciations for this role and even won an academy award.
The Godfather
The Godfather is considered as one of the best gangsters flicks ever made! It is an American crime movie which was released in 1972. The Godfather is based on the best seller novel written by Mario Puzo with the same name. The story is about an Italian Mafia based family and the power going into the reluctant heir of the family (AL Pacino). At that point of time (the early 70's) godfather was the highest grossing movies.
The Pursuit of Happyness
This is a biographical drama film based on entrepreneur Chris Gardner. The real struggle of being homeless for almost a year. The movie is directed by Gabriele Muccino and has Will Smith in the lead role. The movie teaches you to never lose hope and always strive for success. The father-son bonding is depicted as perfectly as the role of the son is played by Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son).
Titanic
The famous American epic romantic tragedy was released in 1997. Directed by one of the greatest directors of all time James Cameron. It is a fictionalized adoption of the sinking of RMS Titanic. This is one of the most loved movies ever.
