It is very important in your life to count your blessings and feel good about your achievements. That will give you positive aura which brings more success to your life. Psychologists around the world say make a habit of thanking God for what you got in life instead of always thinking about what you lack, and I firmly believe in that.
There will be a few things in life, you feel proud of yourself. They may not be notable achievements in the eyes of other people. But for myself, they are great achievements and I am proud of them.
In March 2018, there was a Pinkathon Run, conducted by Supermodel and Founder of Pinkathon, Milind Soman for Breast Cancer awareness. My brother called me and said he and his wife are participating in that and asked me to join. I was not sure whether I could walk 5 kilometers at a stretch, as I had back and knee issues for the past one year.
But I have decided that I will give it a try and said yes to my brother. I reached the venue at 5.30 am in the morning and I could not believe my eyes. There were so many women gathered there and my brother was a volunteer, as men are not allowed to participate in that run. I was overwhelmed when I saw the energy outburst there.
I could have felt sorry if I did not say yes to participate in that event. I was carried away with the magnitude of the event and completed my 5 km run without a break. I am so proud of my achievement and always cherish it as a great milestone in my life. It gave me confidence that I can achieve anything if I really want to.
