The height of a person is 1.65 m. Express it into cm and mm.

Given:

Height of the person = $1.65\ m$

To find: Express the height into $cm$ from $m$.

Solution:

We know that:

$1\ m=100\ cm$

It means when the length value in meters $(m)$ is multiplied by

$100$, then it gets converted into centimeters $(cm)$

Therefore,

 $1.65\ m=1.65\times100\ cm$

$1.65\ m=165\times100\ cm$

$1.65m=165\ cm$

And we know that $1\ m=1000\ mm$

So, $1.65\ m=1.65\times1000\  mm$

$=1650\ mm$

Thus, in $cm$, the height of the person is equal to $165cm$.

Thus, in $mm$, the height of the person is equal to $1650\ mm$.
