Suppose you are in a dark room. Can you see objects in the room? Can you see objects outside the room. Explain.
We cannot see anything in a completely dark room as there is no light present in the dark room.
We can see the objects outside the room as the light is available outside of the room that enters our eyes after reflecting from the objects.
We are able to see something because light from that object (sun, lamp) or the light reflected from the object (things around us that can't produce light) falls on our eyes.
