The dictionary defines automation as “the technique of making an apparatus, a process, or a system operate automatically.” The automation profession includes “everyone involved in the creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services”; and the PLC automation professional is “any individual involved in the creation and application of technology to monitor and control the production and delivery of products and services.” In our tutorial we shall do plan, design, implement and test through simulation of different PLC applications using Siemens LOGO!Soft software.

Audience

This online training is designed for any student or professional with a need to understand the PLC application programming and testing analysis in simulation. With a demo version of LOGO! Soft Comfort, you can easily familiarize yourself with the LOGO! PLC. You can create, simulate, archive and print out circuit programs via a PC for all LOGO! devices. But you cannot transfer (download or upload) the circuit programs to/from a LOGO!. Basic knowledge on digital and analog electronics is the prerequisite for this course.
