Taking the mystery out of design software!

Tim became an Adobe Certified Expert and Instructor and is a partner with his wife Ally at Red Rocket Studio. His goal is to share his extensive knowledge and skillset. Tim is also passionate about helping Graphic Designers learn the tools of their trade. He has been described in reviews as “an excellent teacher who is friendly, patient and knowledgeable” and this is demonstrated by clients who continue to rebook different courses to continue with their professional development. These can be at an international level with a large corporate company or one to one teaching in someone's home office.

Tim's clients have included BBC, Sky, Ford, Virgin, Barclays, Disney, British Airways, the NHS and The Times as well as smaller start-up companies.

Also a professional photographer and Graphic Designer, Tim shares his knowledge of Adobe with free tutorials and seminars on YouTube to help people as much as he can and share his knowledge around the world. Tim co-authors his travel photography blog, Image Explorers with Ally, where he posts free tips, tricks, and tutorials on photography techniques, getting professional results without having to buy the professional equipment. Within this blog, there are also invaluable Adobe training guides with screenshots, as well as stunning examples of his work from over the world, including his hometown Durban, South Africa, where he graduated from Durban University of Technology and started out as a commercial photographer, before coming to the UK where he became a Forensic Photographer for Scotland Yard – London Metropolitan Police. Apart from his time here, he has spent most of his time in the creative industry.

Tim has also been a university lecturer for Graphic Design and Photography honour degree students in Essex and his presence on the internet via YouTube and blog sites has been incredibly helpful for his students, as well as his clients and his goal is to help designers get the most out of their Adobe software. Even when not working, Tim can be found doing his own illustrations and designs using a variety of graphics software.
