Mayokun has 10 years of diverse experience in information technology, entrepreneurship, and youth development. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria, in 2014 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University, in 2016. His passion is education, youth employability, and entrepreneurship.

In 2016, Mayokun founded Edulight Consulting with a mission to provide IT solutions to small & medium scale business that gives them a competitive edge and aid business operations ensure effectiveness, business growth, and improved profitability.

In 2017, Mayokun created CODE4KT (coding for kids & teens) aimed at equipping secondary school students with coding and entrepreneurship skills.

He is the convener of the 205iDeas Entrepreneurship conference.
