Write two uses of Bakelite.
Bakelite is a thermosetting plastic. The plastics which when moulded once, cannot be softened by heating are called thermosetting plastics.
As Bakelite is a thermosetting plastic, a poor conductor of heat and electricity, hence, it is used to make electrical switches and handles of utensils.
