There are two main parts of a plant-

1. Shoot- It is that part of a plant that grows above the soil (the outside part), and its parts are leaves, stem, flowers and fruits.

2. Root- It is that part of a plant that grows under the soil (the inside part), and its parts are primary & secondary roots.
