Write the following numbers in roman numerals.

We have to convert the given numbers into roman numerals.

Solution : 

69 can be written in Roman numerals as,

$69 = 60+9$

      $= (50+10)+(10-1)$

      $= LX+IX$

      $= LXIX$

98 can be written in Roman Numerals as,

$98 = 90+8$

      $= (100-10)+(5+3)$

      $= XC+VIII$

      $= XCVIII$

Therefore, 69 in roman numerals is LXIX, and 98 in roman numerals is XCVIII.
