Write the arithmetic progression when first term a and common difference d are as follows:$a = 4, d = -3$
Given:
$a = 4, d = -3$
To do:
We have to write the arithmetic progression formed by the given first term and common difference.
Solution:
First term $a_1=a=4$
Second term $a_2=a_1+d=4+(-3)=4-3=1$
Third term $a_3=a_2+d=1+(-3)=1-3=-2$
Fourth term $a_4=a_3+d=-2+(-3)=-2-3=-5$
Therefore, the arithmetic progression so formed is $4, 1, -2, -5, .......$.
